Oxygen Peel

December 4, 2016

Christmas parties are coming up and its time to refresh my face before I go glam and pile on make up.   I wanted to try something different and decided to book my girlfriend and I oxygen facials.   We had no idea what to expect.  When we arrived we were give some lovely herbal tea and then went into our treatment rooms.  Since this is a non-medical procedure that does not require injections or the use of any chemicals, it can be performed by any spa employee. Before the actual oxygen treatment began, the skin care specialist exfoliated my skin to ensure that it was free of dirt and excess oils.  After the exfoliation and a mild facial steam, the spa professional used a machine that introduces oxygen directly into the skin’s pores. The oxygen used is usually treated with a number of supplements that are good for the skin, such as vitamins, to help the skin retain its firmness and smooth out fine lines and wrinkles. The procedure was totally painless, as the whole point is to oxygenate the skin so that it can heal itself more quickly.  I really enjoyed the warm towel she applied after cleaning my face.  It was a very relaxing treatment.    Overall my skin looked really good.  I had a nice glow for about 3 days and my skin appeared clear and fresh.   There are a number of benefits to having an oxygen facial, particularly for those who want younger, cleaner-looking skin, it is a treatment that won’t work overnight and does not take place of a good skin care regimen.

Best part was how fresh my face felt.

Would I do it again..... yes

Cost was $100
